Applying Branding Settings to Sub Accounts
Master account owners and admins can force individual sub accounts to use the same branding settings as the master account. If enabled, account owners and admins of these sub accounts will not be able to change branding settings in their own account.
How to enable Apply branding settings to sub accounts
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator.
- In the navigation menu, click Account Management.
- Click Account Settings.
- Navigate to the Branding section (you might need to scroll down).
- Locate the Apply branding settings to sub accounts setting.
- Toggle the setting to Enabled.
- Select Sub Accounts: A window appears allowing you to select the specific sub accounts that should inherit the master account’s branding. Choose the desired sub accounts.
- Click Save.
Common Issues
- Logo appears blurry: Ensure the logo file is high-resolution and meets the recommended dimensions specified on the Zoom portal. Try uploading a vector-based format like SVG if possible.
- Colors not displaying correctly: Double-check the hex codes for accuracy. Some monitors may display colors slightly differently.
- Email templates not updating: Clear your browser cache and cookies. Also, verify that you saved the changes after editing the template.
- Sub accounts still have their own branding: Ensure that the “Apply branding settings to sub accounts” setting is enabled and that the specific sub accounts are selected. It may take a few minutes for the changes to propagate.
- Branding changes not reflected immediately: It may take a few minutes for the branding changes to propagate across the Zoom platform. Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in.
